why wont it work?

I have GT 5 XL edition for and it was working fine I used it last night on multiplayer. I also switched some cars to favorites and created a new track. Then I updated my PS3. This morning when I got on it is all starting up ok but then I reach the screen that asks you if you want the 8 gig download. The button on the screen that says yes is flashing along with the mouse. I cant do anything, cant click yes and i cant move the mouse to say no. It also stops making sound at that point. What do I do?

Sounds like it could be the data installation for reduced loading times.
 
Yeah, all it is is just it reduces the loading time for races and everything else just download it when you are doing something like cleaning or something it should be done in like 15min
 
maybe internet? sorry im no expert. however, xdobi is probably right, just do that.
