Why won't my cars go above my Speedo limit? (Bug)

Hello,
First time posting here but this is frustrating. I don't know when this started, but its affected all my cars.

Basically what happens is that they won't go above the limit of the speed dial (For my cars, 160 Mph) no matter what I add or take off. This is clearly rubbish, as beforehand I was getting near 200Mph in my Stagea. This means I'll be doing 80Mph in 4th gear, and undermines me in races. Extremely annoying!

If anyone has an idea of how to fix this, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
Can you post a video. Also are you sure you just don't have massively tall gears?

Or maybe PD is giving us the real governor simulator :sly:

You've run out of gears - you're bouncing off the redline in 6th. Make your gears longer.

OK, no probs- trouble is this problem occurs with unedited gearing, so I don't know why they've become so short. I'll check the gearing, I'm hoping there's a return to default option, but the strange thing is why this affected all my cars..

I've just bought a Stagea to check. The stock vehicle has a 5 speed box. The 6 speed transmission is set to top out at 162mph and the fully customisable racing transmission is set to exactly the same 162mph with the same ratios throughout.

From the looks of it, your car has enough power to reach 200mph, so just set "Top Speed" in the Transmission settings to about that and it'll be fine.
