Why would I want my B-Spec level higher than my A-Spec level?

XBOX SUCKS!
As some of you may know, there will be times when I don't feel like sitting at my game console running an endurance race beyond 4 hours. Maybe some of you may feel the same way.

To say the least, if you can train your BOB drivers to be on adequate levels with a dominate race car like an FGT or an X1, you can always let the game play itself while you're at work or hanging out with your friends. That is imo an advantage of using B-Spec. A disadvantage on the other hand is being a director and not playing the drivers' seat as you would in GT4.

Well you can race when you're at work or sleeping. If that happens to take up more hours than you can spend playing A-Spec...

Getting B-spec level 35 gets you the x2010 (Red Bull) without having to beat your head against the wall in the Vettel Challenge.

I got to 35 and stopped.

This is why you should level up your B-Spec more then your A-Spec level :)

Unfortunately, this seems to be the only motivation for wasting any time in this mode... sorry Kaz, I can't find anything revolutionary about your mimesis here... if Bob was my relief driver for A-spec endurance drivers I could be understanding; it's not too in tune with reality to expect me to go non-stop for 24 hours in a race event?!

B-Spec also has good prize cars on offer for each completion of series, championship and endurance races. Since you can set it and leave it then take it to Level 40 and claim them all, You don't have to rush and dominate your game play with B-Spec only for this, take your time do the 4 hour Nurburing each night until level 40 (doing the 9 hour and 2 - 24hour endurance races too for the cars) You only need do them once then you have all the cars. I view it as free cars and ££ for doing feck all remember all the ££ you get you can buy cars from the dealers with also.

And finishing B-spec nets you a McLaren MP4-12 *AND* a Level 24 ticket.

I'd love to finish A-spec, but I seem to be about 35,000,000XP short. ;) (Actually, I'm *almost* at L32 now, but it's still a long damn haul to L40...)

B-Spec has cars that you can not win in A-Spec. I do not have unlimited time that other people do. If I have to work, train, or finish my college home work, I can just let the B-Spec driver win money and cars.

Additional cars and also a way to earn $$ to purchase from the UCD/OCD. Or maybe my BSpec is higher since I enjoy my beer and refuse to drink and drive.... :dopey:

Ive only started doing B-Spec because A-Spec is all done up to level 31 and no endurance race now until 32 ... Repeating event bores me after a while so waiting for seasonals is my only A-Spec playing now

B-Spec is very boring especially when they just hold back instead of overtaking when you say :( I just tune individual cars into beauties now :)

If you guys look at my signature, notice that my AI drivers and their individual levels have been adding up without losing a race.

The reason is that I planned a strategy since I first bought GT5. I wanted to start the whole game off by climbing the A-Spec levels until I finally got my hands on several fast and well-balanced cars. Once I have these vehicles and my A-Spec level is high enough, then this will easily take the guesswork out of climbing B-spec levels without losing a single race.

Lately i've spend most of my time leaving my Bob's to do the various endurance races when i'm off doing other stuff, with the aim of reaching level 35. Also, all 4 of my drivers are over level 30, with the highest being 35, so I don't have any problems leaving them to win races.

I now have 30 minutes left to go on the Nurburgring 4H race before I finally reach 35, after which I might take a shot at the Le Mans 24H race.

I ran B-spec to get money and cars to then use in A-spec. I am finding it gets very boring once you're into the endurance races. B-spec seems much easier than GT-4, the FGT series and the Cote D'azur were the only ones where it made a difference whether I paid attention or not. I don't think I will go past level 35 now that I have lots of cars for A-spec. Not to mention me hogging the PS3 is bugging other people who actually want to play games.
