Why you shouldn't flip the bird to a woman driver!

I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver cut right in front of a pickup truck, causing him to have to drive onto the shoulder. This evidently pissed the driver off enough that he hung his head out his window and flipped the woman off. "Man, that guy is stupid," I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in traffic, and here's why:

I drive 38 miles each way every day to work - that's 76 miles. Of these, 16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper. Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8-lane highway, so if you just look at the 7 lanes I am not in, that means I pass something like a new car every 40 feet per lane. That's 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles. That works out to be 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars. Even though the rest of the 34 miles is not bumper to bumper. I figure I pass at least another 4000 cars. That brings the number to something like 36,000 cars I pass every day. Statistically half of these are driven by females, that's 18,000. In any given group of females 1 in 28 are having the worst day of their period. That's 642. According to Cosmopolitan, 70% describe their love life as dissatisfying or unrewarding, that's 449. According to the National Institutes of Health, 22% of all females have seriously considered suicide or homicide, that's 98. And 34% describe men as their biggest problem, that's 33. According to the National Rifle Association 5% of all females carry weapons and this number is increasing. That means that EVERY SINGLE DAY, I drive past at least one female that has a lousy love life, thinks men are her biggest problem, has seriously considered suicide or homicide, is having the worst day of her period, and is armed.

No matter what she does in traffic, I wouldn't DREAM of flipping her off.

Funny you should post this topic as I just flipped off a woman on Monday. She was in a Dodge Durango, sitting in the middle of a crowded street, stopped dead at a green light. No blinkers, nothing. Just stopped! I couldn't see if she was letting someone go, or waiting to turn, or what.

Frustrated, I squeezed through on the right (in between her and a newspaper truck) and gave her a toot for the trouble. She honked back at me, and gunned it and put her grille about 1/2" from my rear bumper. I could see her yelling all sorts of niceties in my rear view mirror. Then it just kinda happened...I roll down the window, extend arm, raise finger. She got even more pissed, but then turned off.

I don't normally flip people off like that, but lately I've been getting frustrated with not being able to see where I'm driving due to all the SUV's and trucks out there  ...which is why my next vehicle will be the biggest one I can get my hands on...F250 or maybe F350, V10. Screw it, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em 😈

Hey im sorry but if someone drives like an A-hole man or women I usaully will say something and if they really piss me off, I will flip them off, usaully they do the same, and we go are own ways. But I did have the on women say she had a gun and she would shoot me once I started to laugh at her so hard I allmost hit the car infront of me and she turned off. And wow what stats those are.

Thank Gawd. I thought it was just me (84 miles round trip in my case).

 Sorry, I'm pretty tolerant of most people, especially in London. I mean, everyone's a hypercrite to a certain extent in a car - **** you!/Had you, hahaha!. But if someone does something so stupid, so dangerous, so... well, ****in' moronic, they're gonna get it with both barrels!! Male, female... even Welsh!

You just pray you don't get the nutter with the gun/knife/breeze block...

PS. I'm half Welsh before you start the flamin'.

I've never flipped a woman off, but one time I was driving my Dad's car and a lady in a F-150 ran me off the road(I really don't care if it was intentional, or not) and didn't even stop to apologize:mad:. Well, I'm glad she didn't apologize, because if she had I would still be feeling really badly about what me and a friend did to her lil' old Ford a few minutes later in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

i would never flip a lady off...i would feel guilty about it

Interesting way to break it down...man or woman, though, if you're a bad driver, you're an an equal opportunity idiot. I flip off maybe two people a year, tops. Usually for people who clog the intersections during rushhour.

I always look at myself in the rearview mirror and scream, rant, swear, threaten and spit at myself before I start up. That way I know it can't get any worse when I'm out. ;)

...had a guy a couple of weeks ago came flying round the outside of me, shouting and waving the finger. Then he looked back where he was going and smacked right into the rear end of an Astra that was turning right... oh, how we laughed!!! :rotfl:

Yep those people are the worst. They cause you to take evasive action to avoid a wreck and when you honk them, they flip you the bird or give you abuse like it's all your fault or something. I've lost count of the number of times that's happened to me. :(

If was upto me I would work from home. Driving is far to stressful these days, unless your on a race track or behind the wheel if your fav. car in GT3!

You should all come over to New Zealand where crud like that never happens. :)
