Why are my forums not popular?
16 members - 5-6 active posters (the rest have registered and never come back)
Is it because of the colours?
Is it because of the name?
Is it because i don't update my site every day?
Is it because there are quadzillions of other forums out there?

I thought i'd ask you people seen as .............well....................... i just want to know. :(

Hey, Andrew, I'm not sure why there aren't more members/people posting at your site. Maybe it's because people are looking for well-populated forums to post at. Having only 5 or 6 people to talk to isn't very appealing to most people, but those people just don't realize that's how every forum starts out.

I, for one, like the colors and the name of your site.:D


There's one problem I have with it, though. It seems to open very slowly...:reallyodd I clicked on your link and left the room, and when I came back 6 minutes later it still hadn't opened fully yet...:confused:


I still registered though, and hope to start posting soon. ;) I also hope to see a few of my fellow GTP'ers there also...:)
 
I checked out the site as well. It did load ok for me (just a few sec.) it looks good also.

You just need to give it some time. Its hard to get started with things like that when you don't have a reason for people to go there.

I don't know why it was loading so slow for me the other day...:confused:

Right now it's actually opening up faster for me than GTPlanet does...:reallyodd
 
I would consider a design more easy on the eyes.

You also have to figure that you are targeting a general racing and GT game board, so who knows how many members you'll get. i prefer firebirds but hardly visit a board about them.
 
If you get that proxy message then try to go back some other time. It is a really crappy server. :(

I want to get the forums to look like the main website (which is lighter blue) but i don't know of anyone who can do it.

u didnt listen to what I said, get a WBB, its like a VBB ;) look at my site, btw I can edit iKons, I had a years expireance with those... :)
 
Yes... advertise on sites, try to pursuade webmasters to add your site to their links, sign up with search engines, to some emailing, maybe even have a "parent" website (read, Merging).
