Delivering a top speed of 310 km/h, an exceptionally low weight-to-power ratio of 2.7 kg/hp and completing the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, the Wiesmann Roadster MF5 takes even experienced sports car enthusiasts into a brand new dimension of driving enjoyment. This exclusive open-air experience is only available to a select few because the spirited power package was produced in a limited edition of 55.

The Weismann MF5 roadster is powered by a 5.0 Liter V10 from a BMW M5 mounted in the front midship position for better weight distribution and features a few tricks to ensure that all 507 HP and 384 lb-ft of torque make it to the ground through the BMW sourced SMG sequential 7 speed gearbox . The extendable rear wing of the roadster version plus perfectly balanced suspension set-up guarantees the necessary stability, even at top speeds. The Wiesmann Roadster MF5 is available from a basic price of EUR 189,500.

The Wiesmann Roadster MF4-S used to be my second favourite car, but now that I've found this, it's been replaced. :sly:

I'd love to see Wiesmann being added to Gran Turismo, it's my favourite manufacturer after Jaguar. :D

This car reminds me of a story: Wiesmann's company logo used to be a gecko - but then Audi decided that was not cool and sued the small sports car maker. You see, Audi also used a gecko as their mascot for "quattro" branding in the 80s so they figured this was gonna be confusing for their....customer base. In the end, Wiesmann relinquished the gecko logo - funny that, since Audi themselves doesn't use it nowadays either...

an exceptionally low power-to-weight ratio of only 2.7 kg/hp

Just a small correction, but that should read "an exceptionally low weight-to-power ratio of 2.7 kg/hp", since 2.7 kg/hp is not power-to-weight, its weight-to-power, which is entirely different.

For instance, this Wiesmann has 2.7 kg/hp, but it can also be said that it has 0.37 hp/kg [or 370 hp/tonne] (based on the MF5's quoted kerb weight of 1,380 kgs).
