So I was online last night and I found a race that title was YOU WIN = FREE F1 or X1. I asked the host if the title was still true and he answered me back,"Actually if you win, you have a choice of an Formula Gran Turismo, Ferrari F1, Red Bull X1, or Suzuki Escudo + 5 chrome paint chips". So here was the challenge to get the prize: 1 lap at Nuburgring 24h, heavy mechanical damage (i think also heavy penalties), 690hp or less, 1500 kg or more, No TCS, stability or skid recovery.
For the 1st race I couldn't find a suitable car in my favorites, i picked the Trans Cammer from the recommended. That didn't work due to the fact that it only has around 620 hp and i forgot to put racing softs on it. Shortly after the start of the race i got left in the dust, so i backed out and looked more carefully at my favorites. I found my C63 which has a little over 670 hp, racing hards, and height adjustable sport suspension. I used this car on my 2nd try at it but this car is to skiddish to do anything good. shortly into the race i spun and badly damaged the car but everybody backed out but the host so i finished the race to get the money.
I backed out of the server and decdied if i was going to win i would have to build a car to specifically do the race. so i grabbed the Lambo 670 SV and went to to work. I painted matte light silver and changed the wheels plus painted them matte gray. To put it near the power limit, I put on the titanium racing exhaust and a sport cat . That put the hp at 687 just under the limit. to address the weight i put a body colour carbon hood and window weight reduction. that put the weight at 1550kg just above the limit. To help the car handle better i put on racing softs and fully customizable suspension. the only tuning i did to the car was put the ride height front and rear the lowest it could go. I went into the server again and tested it in free run. the car seemed fast and easy to drive, so i figured i had a shot.
The race, there was 6 cars and i started mid pack. In the GP part of the course i got off to an ok start i managed 3rd out of the first turn but had dropped to 4th by the time we hit the start of the Nordschilefe because a C63 passed me. My luck changed when at the bottom of the first hill where it narrows the leading Lemans Quattro spun and collected the host( in a chrome Mustang Cobra R) and the C63. i managed to slip through untouched but on the 2nd hill disaster struck. i got to the top of the hill and entered the curved straight that follows but the car slid and caught the grass. that messed up 3 of the wheels. The Lemans quattro got past me but i got going again and chased him down. i was able to stay somewhat close to him being that his car was also damaged form the accident i described before. In section 3 of the Nordscliefe he spun and i was able to get by him and retake the lead. I had a sizable lead on him when in section 4 i spun damaging the final which made the car drive even more terrible than before. i could see him catching me and i was certain on the back straight we was going to pass me. This was because i couldn't keep the car from moving around, it hit both fences.
i managed to hold him off and this morning i got the X2010. I was surprised that i also got 5 chrome paint chips because i took his message to mean that if you pick the Escuado over the other cars you also get the chips. I got to say the X2010 is amazing and i didn't have to wait to level 30 to get it too 2nd
