Hello everyone,

I'm 34 and live in NC. I too am a GT addict! I have been trying and trying and trying to get my newly acquired GameShark to work so I can get the Diablo and the other hidden cars (Porsche, Viper #51, Skyline GT-R type M etc.), but I can't get it to load properly with the new codes.:banghead:

With the preloaded codes it will load about once every dozen tries, and this is ALSO my second GameShark in 4 days! GameShark told me after about 45 min. on the phone that I had a bad unit. :irked:

SO...now I'm resorting to a different way...I would like to buy a memory card from someone with the hidden cars already saved on it.

Is there anyone who has them all saved with no miles?

Also...I'm working on a memory card of all the cars right now with NO miles on them and the oil change supe-up as well as all the tune ups and tires and when it's complete I'll give anyone that wants to mail me a memory card and return postage envelope!

I'm only 6 cars from completion so by next weekend I'll be ready.

Thanks for any help anyone can give!

Accessible through an X-port, or a Gameshark. Hack them into the game. :)

why would you put more money into a game that has already wasted 100's of hours of your own life ahhhhhhhhhhhhh god damn i sound like my mum. just for 4 cars.....but anyways uby a sharkport and download saved games from around this website

Dude your right and wrong...GameSharks suck...because they don't work most of the time...

But...they don't ruin the game...and I do know to play it...you shouldn't be throwing around insults like that on here...especially when you don't know us in person.

I've gotten 100% on the game TWICE now...and own every single car on the game in almost every color (saved to two memory cards)...I am doing it to get the HIDDEN cars because I just want every car...I'm not doing it to CHEAT. I want the diablo and the Porsche 996 mostly.

When I race...I race cars comparable to the others in the race...or...when I want to whip the game...I race my 094/H or S.

So off me.

Nice response. Well said. Too often people open their mouth before thinking.

I will suggest getting the sharkport. Not only a great accesory, but necessary when you get invovled in on-line racing. The ability to download a replay from other NTSC users makes it an invaluable tool.

The sharkport is a piece of software in your computer, a disc for the PS2, and a cable that connects one to the other.

The attached file has most of the cars you're looking for. The Hidden rally car, the Diablo and the Porsche. It also has a few useless hybrids. I can't recall where I found it or who deserves credit for it. If it is yours, please let me know.

jdhnc13: once you've got your sharkport download this and have fun. I'll note that some of the transmission need to be touched before playing. Simply knock the Auto Setting up a notch and it resets the transmission back to normal.

Enjoy

Der Alta/ AO,

Thanks for the download and the post. I'm going to go buy a Sharkport today. I guess it's pretty self explanitory in usage?

Should I keep my GameShark or return it? GameShark makes it sound like you need both, but I keep hearing/reading about this "MK" program. What is the MK thing?

Thanks for your help I really do appreciate it since I'm still trying to figure all this out. :)

Return the Gameshark. I had picked one up before the sharkport, and in turn gave the gameshark away. It is self explanatory in use. Make sure your computer can be moved within a few feet of the PS2 (short cable) and it must have a USB port.

MK's Utilities is a software program that you can use to eidt garages (replays) that have been loaded onto your computer via sharkport. While most people use this to make hybrids, serious racers use it to analyze cars in other replays. For instance, you lose to the AI and want to know what they have for a car set-up. Simply save the replay, then sharkport it to your computer. Once read in MK's utils program, you can see how the other cars are set-up. It reads like an excel spreadsheet. Search in the Hybrids forum for a link to it.

AO,

Thanks for all the help and info! I'll take my GameShark back tonight and get the Sharkport.

That bit about analyzing the car set ups is AWESOME.

After all is said and done, other than the F1 Cars, what do you feel is the best car on the game when tweaked properly? The R390?

J.

JDhnc13: When tweaked properly, my favorite is the RUF RGT. Best car in the game, leaves it wide open. The R390 is a formidable car. So is the RX-7 LM. The hidden gem in the Game is the Pagani Zonda race car.
I've spent very little time driving hte Diablo, and even less time driving the Prosche. I've spent considerable time driving a Lancer Evo VI GSR. My second favorite.

Good luck and keep us posted.
