As GT Academy will send two cars to Le Mans this year, is this a sign that endurance racing will becoming a bigger part of the Gran Turismo series? Could we see multi-class racing coming to the Gran Turismo series soon, and a greater variety of GTs, Le Mans Prototypes and classic Le Mans racers?

Endurance races have been featured in some form right from the beginning of the Gran Turismo series, but until Gran Turismo 5 they were sort of underwhelming, because only six cars could take part.

The World Endurance Championship, which is centred around the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is gradually picking up steam among motorsports fans.

Yes. Endurance races don't have to be 24 hour races. A 2 hour grand prix is still an endurance race. Long races are in woefully short supply in "Career" mode or even GT5 seasonals.
