Will Famine ever create a thread in the "Ask GTPlanet" forum?

Ah Friday night. I'm a wee bit tipsy and I've just got in and seen that the last post in the Rumble Strip is from Famine giving yet another scientifical explination.

This got me thinking. There must be something that he does not know. Perhaps the average life expectancy of a moth? Or the biological name for fluff that gathers in ones belly button.

GTP challenges you: a severe shortage of food (as through crop failure) resulting in violent hunger and starvation and death, we need to teach you something for once! (I hope GTP backs me up on this!).

Is there anything you don't know, and would like to?

Please, let us teach the teacher. Make a thread here. :)

A good question, but we all know Famine is hardwired to wikipedia.

I think it's more a case that he has the gift of being able and willing to find things out for himself. Will he ever make a thread in here? I have no idea, possibly, but if he didn't it wouldn't be because he already knew everything, he just probably has other sources for answers.

And from what I've seen on here, GTPLant would be more than happy to teach him a few things.

Off course there is something he doesn't know, there are lots of things you can ask him but the problem is Wikipedia, I seriously blame Wikipedia for Famine's knowledge.

We need to find him a question with which he cannot use Wikipedia :mischievous:
 
I project that someone will try to teach Famine something, and then be corrected on his own info by Famine.

I've moved this thread, as it is more of an open ended discussion question, instead of a "definitive answer" thread.

Plus someone seems to think he can take it off-topic and still be viable.

The questions on the Ask GTPlanet forum are more of a thought provoking and decision aquiring forum, instead of a random asking.

Because it's not a colour, it's an empty space. There's no light being refleced off anytihng in an empty space, so there is no colour. If it wa green there would have to be something for the light to reflect off for there to actually be a colour.

Right. And it's blue during the day because of the oxygen in the atmosphere, and turns pink and all kinds of colors when the sunlight only hits certain levels of the atmosphere.
 
I could memorise billions of numbers if I had enough time in my life to count them out. Billions and billions. They'd just be in order of lowest to highest that's all.
 
Is this just another excuse for a Famine worship thread?
Or are we actually going to turn it into a genuine Q+A thread for general input (but ultimately knowing you'd like the hockey playing lesbian to answer the queries)?

I know we all love Famine, me especially, but he does shy away from this sort of attention and you don't want to scare him too much!
 
It's Famine worship. Well I don't think that was original intention from Dunc, but that's what all these threads inevitably end up being.
