will ffb wheel shake the imac too much

sorry in advance if this isnt in the right section.

i have a g27 mounted on the same desk where my imac is, right now i put the computer to sleep when i play gt6 on the ps3 because im worried about shaking the imac causing hard drive damage. the desk isnt the most sturdy and even small movements will translate to visible shaking in the imac monitor (21.5 inch).

but at the same time i see games for mac such as f1 and dirt that can be used with a ffb wheel, im wondering if anyone is using a wheel with their mac and if the shaking will do any damage.

I use a wheel with my laptop and my PS3 on the same desk. No HDD failures for me yet. My original XBox is also on this desk, but I haven't really used it since I have started. As far as my (poor) knowledge of HHD's go, they are a bit harder to damage when they are not spinning, and when not loading anything new (and just using ram to keep itself up) there should be no problems. The stand on the mac isn't exactly sturdy.
