I have asked a few people, and have heard different answers from each. Will GTP_ still be required in your PSN to participate with GTPlanet? With saves being copy protected, that means players will need to "ditch" their main PSN just for GT5. To some that is not a problem, to some it is. I would hate for myself or anyone start a save and have to restart just to play with a GTP PSN to participate together.

Thanks.

Try setting up a separate user account on your PS3. Go to the very left menu on your XMB, and there you will find User Accounts. Then make a new, separate account with your GTP_Username and install GT5 under that new user. That should secure your savegames as the old saves will still be under the old username and GT5 will be under your new one. You should be able to set up a new PSN ID under a new User Account. Then it's just a matter of switching between user accounts. Hope that helps!

This is still being discussed. You can expect an answer when the game is released and we have a chance to test out the possibilities.
