Hi, I have a obutto cockpit with a 42" Plasma right infront of me, I set up PS Eye today and tried out headtracking which I thought really adds to the game however It can only seem to be used in Arcade and only in Beginner mode. Will they ever update this for multiplayer racing? I don't see why it isnt, it doesnt give any bigger help then multi monitor racing.

That really is disappointing. I wanted one until now.

Yeah, It is such a shame cos it would really add to the game. It can't be too hard to bring it in as it works fine but just not in any mode worth playing!!

Nope. :indiff: They said that the PS3 can't handle it in GT mode.

I assume it was just a commercial gimmick and/or a test for GT6.

Sony made GT5 delayed for 3D, and PD added this. A waste of time. I think both of those options are complete rubbish. None of the previous GT games had this, and whereas I enjoy advancement, they should have just left it out. The "look around" is a good idea in theory, but since you aren't really in the car, how can you actually look around and it be intuitive? Most of us have a tough time giving 110% racing the cars, so this is an unneeded addition. I would rather other options, many of which have been talked about in many different threads (cars, tracks, etc.).

Head tracking has been used in flight sims for years (Freetrack and TrackIR). Sadly it isnt new technology. Its just another thing PD did 1/2 arsed. Its the same story with GT5, lots of stuff implemented, but not done well.
