Just curious if Logitech has any known plans of a newer G27 wheel. Im currently in the market for a new wheel since my Driving Force Pro is just far too old. The G27 is essentially what I'm looking for. I can use it for iRacing, GT5, and just ps3 games in general. Only problem is, it's been out for quite a bit now and I don't know if they are coming out with a newer model. I don't want to be stuck in a situation where I buy a G27 and then Logitech comes out with something new a month or two later. So hopefully you guys know something that I don't? Looking forward to some answers. Chao!

I haven't really heard anything about a new G-model wheel yet, though I would assume that they are developing one. And I'm not so sure if you should get the G27 in the first place because of the dreadful dead-zone (it gets quite annoying at times), but that's the only reason not to buy one and the only reason I think and hope they're making a new and better wheel :P

I'd really be getting it for the use of iRacing which has options to adjust deadzone. But like it would just be the same item I use for GT5.

Seeing as how so many people stopped carrying the G27, that means that either it's gone down in popularity so they may not come out with a newer one, or it could signify that they're coming out with a newer one. Either way the G27 is a great wheel and i can't see any improvements they could make over this one really, if they had any it would be small. The lack of a sequential shifter is a non issue for me since there are paddles.

I don't get how you find the G27 deadzone a problem, do you guys not have any grip at all on your wheel? The g27 is a fine wheel.

I suspect that after being unceremoniously snubbed by PD, Logitech will probably develop a wheel for use on the X-Box.

I doubt that would be the reason. PD isn't the only company that makes driving games.

+1. Mine works just fine.

G25 - 2007
G27 - 2010

I don't foresee an update this year or next.
