Will my data return?

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been posted but a search didn't return any results. Long story short, I've played GT5 for about a week when my PS3 gave me the yellow light of death and that was the end of it. This was a while ago and again long story short, a new PS3 will be arriving soon.

I was unable to backup my data before hand (pre update 1.05 I hear) so I thought I lost everything. In between PD launched the GT5 My Home system and after logging in I could see all my license trophies and stats were where I left them.

My question is (and I could have asked this quicker I'm sure), when I get my new PS3 and bring everything up to date and log in with my PSN ID, will my data and licenses etc all fall back into place?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

No, you need to get your PS3 running for at least 5 minutes to copy your old saved data onto a flash drive and then to the new PS3.
 
Thanks guys but I no longer have my ps3. I'm waiting for a new one to arrive and from what I can tell me data is online. So I was wondering if it will transfer when I log in or something.
