Will the copy settings function ruin my tuning?

Hi everyone! I'm still new to GTP and GT6 and I'm having ahard time deciding what to do.
I have a good tune on a 600pp car, but I want to try a 550pp tune for a shorter trac with it. I know that if I copy setting from tab A to B then change the power upgrades it will transfer those upgrades to the other tabs I have copied from and ultimately change the pp on the original tab. The real question here is if I change my transmission settings by changing the ratios and top speed, or change the suspension settings by adding a different suspension option, will those new settings transfer as well? Or is it just a glitch with the power settings? Thanks for your reply.

Settings, that change for all 3 tabs at once are power (engine tuning upgrade only) and settings in tab for weight reduction/bonet/windows

When you copy settings from ie. A > B , all settings from A are copied to B , but if you then ie. change weight reduction in A,B or C tab , that will affect all three tabs (same with engine tuning upgrade). If you change other settings ie. suspension in tab A , those settings will not affect suspension setting in B and C.Hence , copy option.

PS: Those settings (engine upgrade and weight reduction) were irreversible in GT5> once done you couldn't undone wr or engine upgrade , so , no , it is not a bug ,but [strange?] design choice. At least now , we can undo those settings:)
