well, if you don´t own the signature edition you can still buy the six stealth cars on ebay :>

seriously, imo the range of premiums in the game is good. i´m going through the game a second time and can choose totally different premiumcars in a-spec. it would be nice to have some more though :=

I think if they ever decide to add more cars in a DLC pack, it won't be for quite awhile yet. I think they will probably convert standard cars to premium before they add more cars.

But the reason I think them adding new cars won't be for awhile is because the game just came out like 3 months ago. Give it time people. Have patience. Good things come to those who wait...:)

That's true mate there is over 200 premium cars which seems like a lot but compared to 800 standard cars.more premium cars would be great.also there don't seem to be many up to date cars like astra Vxr and cars made in 2010 like ford focus rs

i don´t even like driving standard cars anymore. it was "normal" in gt 1-4 to drive with bumper cam, but now, after i saw the many cockpitviews of premiums i can´t go back to this. got used to it somehow :=

I would like it if they would make a Koenigsegg, Veyron SuperSport, 599 (GTO,XX). Just fast and awesome cars :D.

Bye the way: I thought the title was: Will there be a care package?
👍

Apparently, Kaz doesn't plan on offering DLC cars. If we could show enough support for the idea, he might change his mind, but people are more interested in whining about the lack of good cars and asking each other if they'd like car packs.

Those are 3 cars that I'd LOVE to see. I'd pay $5-$10 just for those 3 cars, no doubt

There are many missed opportunities with the car selection, like the new Scirocco, and many new cars to be released soon, like the unpronouncable Pagani, which would be great opportunities for DLC, paid or not.

On the other side, we already have 1,031 cars to play with. That's nearly 10 times the full roster of NFS Shift 2 which'll be released soon, so do we really need more cars? I don't really know. To be honest, I'd just be happy with the premiumisation of a few standard cars for now (the Charger and Midget are essential!)

Like 200-300 of them are nice in my opinion.

That's irrelevant really. We still have them. Upgrading more to a higher level of detail is the best idea IMO, but I still maintain the standard cars are fine as is.

Let's face it all the cars are great.name another car game with this many cars.point is that eventually gt5 will need to update because of competition.such as forza who are releasing a 500 car pack with full hd interiors.so in the long I think there will be more cars.but not yet.as someone has already said this games only been out 3 month.

95 % of the cars in the game are different versions of the same cars from Nissan and Mazda.

I would like to see themed DLC packs with both tracks and cars. Such as,

NASCAR Expansion Pack:
2011 #1 Bass Pro Shops Impala, 2011 #56 NAPA Camry, 2011 #00 Aaron's Camry, Infineon Raceway, new NASCAR oval.

Super GT Pack: Okayama International Circuit, Twin Ring Motegi, 2010 Apple K-ONE Mooncraft Shiden, 2010 Nakajima Racing Honda HSV-010 GT.

There does seem to be a lot more Japanese cars than others

I hereby nominate that post for understatement of the year.

As for how we'd show support for the idea of car packs, I was at one point attempting to finalize a petition which I would have personally sent to Polyphony Digital, with the names and website affiliations of all in support, for consideration. No one was interested and a mod eventually locked it to keep me from repeatedly reviving it.

I believe I've pinpointed the mistakes that lead to thread death, and those were 1) allowing a multitude of inane little gripes to be suggested for inclusion and 2) trying to start debate over things everyone wants. Using that knowledge, I think I could probably revive the idea and not have it fail so badly this time.

As for Stormtrooper's SGT pack idea, you're missing a track there... Autopolis. It's really an excellent layout and I loved it in Prostreet and Shift. Now if you could drive it in a game where precision is possible and you don't end up making your car look all Fast 'n' Furious, it would be awesome.

What are you on about? We are only suggesting what would be a great car pack we are not asking for one mate

Those were examples of what I would think would be a good car/track pack.

@White & Nerdy: Yes, I forgot about Autopolis. Great track, just that Autopolis and Grand Valley are too similar.

As for japenese cars I never said it was a bad thing! I own a Japanese car cause the japenese really do make the best cars(in my opinion)
