Will there be any New Wheels for Next Gen?

Couldn't find much on Next Gen Wheels so started this thread to get your thought and ideas flowing. We've had great seats and Cockpits come out in the last few years but for dated tech. Yes T500r is new but Pricey for most + optional H shifter too.
Ive had my G27 for maybe 2.5 years so ready for something new. New design (cant redesign 'the wheel' duh), new layouts, just uptodate tech.

One big thing i would want for next is the Flappy Paddles to rotate with the wheel like every car with them. Other changes would be to add Single Functional Buttons like Lights/Wipers/Horn/TC etc with symbols, Its a car wheel for cars so why the multi functional buttons?? Just look at Ferrari FF/458 Wheel, its all on there. Even a fake (Possiblily real) dash behind wheel, Digital speedo for HUDless racing. Lastly, there has to be a Large option for adults as my car wheel is huge compared to my G27.

After all, It looks Cool. Yes, there is an Xbox/PC copy but looks and feels cheap. Should take design ideas from it not copy it, would be wrong driving mclaren with it. (Actual racing wheel are to complex)

I dont really think this is the right forum for that post. And yes there will be new wheel, if you want a bit of customization go look at fanatec.de

I'm not sure there's gonna be a new logitech wheel tho.
 
Not any time soon, Wheel makers have no history of making wheels for specific generations. just wheels.... Logitech wheels work on both PS3 and retroactively on PS2. Its a constant evolution.
 
There are already wheels out that have all of the features you are looking for. Look at he Fanatec clubsport wheel, it does everything you want it to, and if you go to PC racing you could build an entire dash with real working gauges if you want.
 
The reason the buttons are not auto assigned and with symbols on, is that not all games use the same configuration and or features. What is horn in one game may be wipers in another and nothing in another game.

I think the only thing I'd like to see is first party handbrakes. I don't think dashboard displays would be all that great, having said that I'm surprised no first party hardware company has come out with a MoTeC style thing, but the way I have my wheel mounted means I can barely even see the shift lights on my G27 so a dashboard would be totally useless to me.

Anyway, not enough sims feature analogue handbrakes so it would be really nice to see a popular wheel get one so that even if you decide to make your own it would still be supported as an analogue input. That's the sort of thing that can't be modded into a game nor hardware, after all.

Cool but seems like spending money again. Looking more ps3 (with little pc) but heck ill look in to it. Just want something affordable, ready to go, Fanatecs look great and pricey but covered in manufacturer/ branding

You could buy a Mini Plate and retain the PS3 compatibility, I'm sure that if you talk to Derek you guys can come up with something real sweet to transform your wheel!
