Will they change the garage layout?

I am not a complainer, but this garage layout is really inconvenient. Couldn't they model the garage after the dealerships where you can immediately go to a different brand based on their logo? Or permanently sort cars a certain way? I think that would benefit most where the top to bottom thing doesn't really work imo. Thoughts?
 
I think the system used in GT4 would be best. Still top to bottom, but quickly easily sortable based on multiple parameters and criteria. I've never understood why they made the Standards and Premiums segregated in the garage menu in the first place. They are all clearly labeled, so it basically just comes off as another inconvenient submenu to slog through, and the garage screens are all rather sluggish to respond to player actions.
 
you can sort the garage, it is standared on soted on date.
But jou kan sort ik on BHP or weight.

You can also single out a certain brand if you like.

It's all on the left side of the garage 👍

Don't you have to sort each time you visit the garage? It's not permanent I thought.
 
Yeah I think the garage as it is in GT5 is pretty much as good as you can do it with 1000 cars. I can't really fault it, you can sort it by anything you desire!

And why can't they make the background of the car image a bit nicer? I mean black with smoke at the back - bleah
Why not a garage scene - even customisation options, different styles of garages?
3D garage scene with your car parked there - nice!

Completely agree, great ideas. I envisioned a 3D garage with different levels based on your own needs, but hey maybe in GT8...

There is an image of this from the front page of the game, on the rolling screen saver. A massive hanger full of rows and rows of cars in 3D. Would be great to select from your own garage like it!

That would be awesome. Maybe when they get to the PS4 they'll be able to pull that off.
 
I'm really glad premiums are kept separate from standard. I don't hate the standard cars but I like having the really pretty cars all together :)

As for the update locking your preference... it's been working quite well but sometimes mine reverts back to normal. Must be a bug :(
 
A slideshow or a carrousel where you can see each car in a big size and get rid of those crappy thumbnails, it take years to see a full garage car by car.
A custom background would be nice.

I understand this sentiment, but I don't understand why PD couldn't have just made it adjustable to keep them together or not.
