Will this come to an end soon?

Does anyone know if this whole style of online racing will come to an end soon when GT5 comes out? I'm guessing it will have online play, but there's no way I'll be able to afford a PS3 when it comes out! It'll probably be a good couple of years until I get one.

Does anyone think online GT4 racing and spot races will still be going strong for a while when this happens?

first of all, i suppose the best thing to do is to look at the online mode and let the organisers see what's what. then, i suppose, they'll make a decision based on that

still, wouldn't mind a proper online race series. i'd take part

OLR for GT4 probably will continue for some time.

However, where you have posted for this subject is totally off base.

I think you'd be better off looking through the threads in the GT5 forum and seeing if there is anything in there.

This forum "official gtp competitions" is for exactly what it sounds like and nothing more.
Discussions about the future of OLR as we know it are perfectly acceptable and I encourage you to explore the subject.

However, this is not the place for such a discussion.
Please search the GT4 and GT5/GTHD forums before creating a new thread and then based on the results, feel free to discuss the subject to your heart's content.
