Will this usb move work?

Hi guys, before i start i'd just like to say i genuinely looked with the search bar but couldn't find a direct answer to my question, witch is.....
I am having trouble finding a formula gt as i dont have online in my house and i was thinking to put my game save on a usb drive, going to my bro's with my game and usb loading onto his ps and buying one in the ocd (hoping it's there).
Will this work or should i bring my whole console?
 
I do believe you need to sign into YOUR PSN account to get online with your game save. You'll probably need to bring your console.

Yes it will work. Copy you save game to the usb drive. Create a new PS3 user on your brother's PS3 then Log on to your PSN ID on the newly created user. Load the save game you got in the USB drive -enter GT5 -buy car in OCD -save and exit game - copy savegame back to USB drive overwriting your previous game save then load this to you own PS3.

If your brother leaves that account on his ps3, he will also have your DLC. Provided you go to the PS store and redeem already downloaded content. No internet thats not possible then.

You won't need to bring your ps3, you will just need to create your user id on his ps3 and sign in...DL what you want, resave to the usb.
