Will upcoming patches ever include more cars?

I'm curious if anyone thinks that game patches in the future may add more cars to the game. There are a handful of cars that I really wish I would be able to have, the BMW M1 probably being first and foremost, if they were available. Considering how this will probably be the only version of GT for the PS3 it makes sense to me that PD would continue to upgrade it for years to come while they develop GT6...

How are we supposed to know? None of us work for PD, and if any of us did, we sure couldn't admit it in public.
