Will we be able to trade/gift cars like GT5?

Hi, I have been out of the loop from GT since GT5. It means I've missed GT6 and GTSport.
I really adored GT5 because of how many cars there were and how you could trade them around freely with 0 restrictions.
You could also trade paints and stuff which was super awesome.
Do you think this will be possible with GT7?

And did GT6 & GTSport have this?
I recall them not having it which is why I honestly didn't purchase those games.
Please let me know if I am wrong!

Yes this is what had me create the topic. It really gave me hope, haha. But have you played GT6? Is there no such icon in that game?
 
I remember back in early GT5 days, when you could create a second 2nd PSN account and set your birthday to that day you creating it but put the year like 1960, and get the those Cr. 20mil cars and then just send the cars to your main account. Later on PD put a limit you can only send cars that is worth up to 1mil. I guess it will be similar in GT7.
 
I hope so I loved setting up room on Top Gear test track called drift drag trade it got all the noobs in I used scam everyone lol get them to send me a rare paint chip or car and i'd send them some tyres LOL
 
Pondering this question in the UCD thread. Would love to utilise this feature between my main, alt accounts and friends.
 
Doesn't look like we can trade cars. The gift icon is strictly for gift tickets that you win by doing missions or daily marathons.
 
You can discard cars you have more than one of, for 0 credits. That's it. No selling or trading.
