Before I start...I Didn't know what type of threads to put this in so i Put it In the GT5 section for now tell me Where to move it If needed..

What GTFOREVER!! are you crazy i'm never going to put down GT5!!.....LOL before you lot get on my case about why, Some of you may know this game and Know Its still in development, I knew about this game a couple months back but thought It was just for PC but its making its way to console It Is Project CARS And It Looks crazy Awesome and Its still In development at the moment will you be putting GT5 Down for this??.

I Will get the game but like most on this forum I will Never Put Down a GT game
Please don't start a War between GT and This game Just asking what you think Thank you GUYS

Don't try to build up a pCars vs. GT5 flame war. You know people 'round here. Instead if we consider we don't have enough simulators on PS3, I think there's probably (lot of) room for booth.
 
The screenshots look really nice, but they're from a gaming PC. Obviously it'll be downgraded for consoles, but so long as it has that kind of content like LMP's and touring cars then count me in.
 
What does this have to do with GT5?

Also, there's a thread on this game in the PC & Console Gaming sub-forum already.
 
pCars could finally be what Shift 1 and Shft 2 should have been in the first place.
Unfortunately we all know how it ends up with EA. All the unfixed bugs.. weird car behaviour, input lag, floating.. etc.

This time they are running alone, they know they have to deliver.

Pc version looks great, handling looks improved, let's hope console version will feature the same physics.

I'm hoping that you are right. I've been following PCars in it's thread and it sounds like it's going to have a lot of potential. Shift 2 had so much going for it but the way cars felt using a wheel just threw me off too much. People are saying this handles much better, I hope they are correct. One of the diagrams for the game in their wmd portal placed PCars as both sim(iRacing) and realistic(GT, Forza) where they had Shift 2 as action arcade. I hope it gives us an idea of what's to come. It also talked about community features(leagues and clubs, etc.) and it sounded like they are putting a lot of work into the online features. That's what I'm looking forward to most.

He didn't say they were involved. He was talking about their involvement in Shift 2 and then said this time they(Slightly Mad) are on their own.

i wont put down gt5 put i'll pick up pcars with the other hand. classic cars, race cars and a livery editor:tup:
 
If it guarantees LEADERBOARDS :sly: along with great physics and track selection I won't hesitate, from what I have seen it looks very promising :D

Hopefully they can also figure out a great penalty system

Nope, I'll continue to do what I already do. Buy PCars and play the hell out of it, along side the rest of my racing games. I've never exclusively played one racing game and I never will because each one offers something new the others don't have.

GT5 was put down a long time ago for me, iRacing and rFactor sent it to the grave for me!
 
Have you actually played PCars? The thing has potential, yes, but it's utterly unfinished.

If you wanted to start a troll thread you could've at least used another game.

The only reason I still play GT5 is online racing with my friends because it is so much fun, GT5 was a major let down. I was hoping for GT5 to be so much more. Major things are lacking from this game especially once you play any other game sim or arcarde.

Then you see games like forza , (I consider the physics in forza super arcade compared to GT5) but the game itself has evolved and (excluding the lack of using most steering wheel on xbox) anything in that game should have @ least been in GT5. i.e. painting your car, sharing set-ups, buying realistic upgrades, all cars to the same level of detail..... ect ect

So yes, once pCARs is actually finished I will give up GT5, Being a long fan of the series ill will certainly give GT6 another shot.



edit: no need to worry about the console version of the game -
pCARs for Consoles will have all the content it does on PC, only the graphics will be scaled down, and limitations of # of A.I. opponents and Online Opponents will be reduced.

Iracing killed it for me too. I don't think I have played GT5 after my first Race of Iracing. I have no interest at all in racing the CPU, so GT5 really wasn't ever that great for me. The last time i played it the online was really abd too, but maybe that has changed since then with updates.

This pretty much sums it all up for me, I couldn't have put it down to words better! GT5 is all about the friends I've made trough the past year here on GTP.
 
Does anyone have any idea what the differences beetween PC and PS3 version will be like ?
the reason i ask is that i dont have a decent PC to play these amazing sims on :(

besides the graphic, will like the physics be worse ect?

I had no Intention of doing that at all my friend Just wanted to start a thread about this game and introducing it to people who haven't heard of it because I know lots of people how haven't yet heard of the game. no I haven't yet to get to playing It but I will :)
