Williams F1 Wheel & GT4

I'm probably retarded and missing something really simple... I searched this forum but didn't find anything, anyway I got the Joytech Williams F1 wheel and can't figure out how to manipulate the menus with the wheel. It doesn't have the d-pad and moving the wheel doesn't do anything for me. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
 
i guess then, the will isnt compatible with gt4. i think only logitech wheels do work with gt games.

maybe i am wrong and somebodu correct me please, but outta my expirience i know that.

The compatibility thread on this board suggests that the Williams F1 wheel is compatible with GT4.
 
For anyone else interested in this issue, my problem was on the retarded side... The logo in the center of the wheel is also a d-pad.
