Not quite as we don't have the 1LE version, but close enough...

They also showed a bit of the same car's Nordschleife run on Extra Gear so you can compare against that time too.

I'm still trying to beat Jann Mardenbrough's Suzuka time from the Japan episode Extra Gear in the GTR Premium Edition ... (not a cats hope in hell ) . His time from the episode is shown below ... 2:23.518

Rory and Sabine have all the personality of a Daewoo. Also with these shows there's no real feeling for the track... it could be any track.

I'm not sure if people rememeber but Clarkson did a NSX on Laguna Seca vs. the PS3 on GT5 (I believe) and they gave you a better feeling for the track, granted it does have the corkscrew.

But I do like the 1LE - would love to own an SS 1LE. The ZL1 is too much.

They did have a helicopter though (when Sabine arrived) a la Alsace Village. If it gets much lower on the Start/Finish straight of that track I will be hitting it with my car

I had my DVR set to record Top Gear and it included Extra Gear after Top Gear. They showed snippets of Willow Springs and mentioned Speeds, however, I was hoping that they would show an above view of the whole track. I especially enjoyed the segment on the Track-Tor.
