Terms and Conditions
These rules apply to all competitions featured on-air on Five on Five's Sky Digital interactive service and/or included on the
www.five.tv site ("website") unless otherwise expressly stated.
1. The following shall not be eligible to enter:
a. Employees of Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited ("Five");
b. Employees of any company (or a subsidiary or associated company of it) which has made, produced, or sponsored any television programme to which the competition relates ("the Producer");
c. Employees of any company which has supplied or donate a prize to be won in the competition ("the Prize Donor"); d. Employees of subsidiary or associated companies of (a), (b), or (c) above;
e. Agents or members of their families or households of any of (a), (b), (c), or (d) above
f. Anyone resident outside the UK.
2. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of any competition, the decision of Five shall be final.
3. Entrants may enter each competition as many times as they like, but each entrant may only win one prize in any four week period. By submitting their entry entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules. Where entry is made through Five's Sky Digital interactive service the name entered will be the name of the customer registered with Sky Active at the telephone number from which the entry is sent unless the prize draw is placed under a name from Your Details on Sky Active.
4. All prizes shall be awarded at the discretion of Five.
5. Prizes will not be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of contestants, illegal or otherwise.
6. Where a prize may not be appropriate for a younger contestant, a minimum age for entry will be stated and must be observed. Five reserves the right to request written proof of age and identity of any winner.
7. The prize will be delivered to the winner's home address unless s/he states otherwise upon notification. No cash or other alternatives will be offered in place of specified prizes but Five reserves the right to change prizes without liability. Prizes are not transferable unless specified otherwise.
8. Winners of competitions will be notified by email or telephone or letter and their name and home town may be published. Winners may also be required to participate in publicity. The winner s name will be disclosed to anyone who writes within 3 months after the closing date, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope, to Competitions, Five, 22 Long Acre, London, WC2E 9LY.
9. Claims for prizes must be made within the time specified in the notice. Failure to claim by the time or in the manner specified will make the claim invalid and a new winner will be selected in accordance with these rules. No correspondence will be entered into.
10. All entry instructions given are deemed to form part of the rules of the competition to which they relate.
11. Five reserves the right to stop a competition and/or to vary these rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be included in the rules posted within the website.
12. Some competitions will be open to Five website registered users only. There is no charge for registration.
13. These rules shall be governed by the laws of England.
