The timing is interesting. If it's a typical 2-week time trial, even a release on 12/4 would only leave 1 day to get to Japan between 12/18 and the World Finals on 12/20. Surely it has to be shorter? This also means that 12/11 is pretty much the latest Spec III can be.
 
A Wednesday update isn't unheard of. Maybe SpecIII is across two patches? a 1.64 and 1.64.1 ? Or we've had content locked until a certain date before - the Bvlgari?

There's no reason to suspect that it will be anything other than a normal Online Time Trial/Lap Time Challenge, like so many other special Time Trials we've seen with prizes (recently Hyundai, less recently Honda).

The new Weekly Challenge events are a complete unknown at the moment, but look to bring in sector challenges and one-lap missions.

I understand, but as I am a moron, I already bought it when it became available and to do the TT 😅

By the way the weekly challenge was not so bad, once you take into account it weighs more than an aircraft carrier 😁
 
I imagine the free car ticket will be given at the same time as the viewer bonuses. The post office have a lot of works for christmas...
