if you purchased all of the tickets avaliable (500) you would actualy pay just a little bit less than you would if buying it from a dealer

How about a better idea. Just bare with me a sec.

For about $2,000 USD you can do round trip to New Zealand. For about $15,000 USD you can purchase an R32 GTR.
Shipping back to the states would be about $800 USD. For about another $8,000 you get it completely done by motoRex.

So lets see:
$2,000 - Air fari
$15,000 - Car purchase
$800 - Shipping
$8,000 - Dot

@ $26,000 USD and you have a GTR :)

Or better yet. Fly to Japan and pay less. Say around $11,000 USD for one :)

But even a 1 in 500 chance of winning an R34 for $200....? Sounds like an acceptable risk to me. :D

Failing that, I like RazorGTR's idea....

Are you sure it would be that cheap? An R34 by MotoRex will cost you $95,000.

R32 GTRs start at 28 000$, according to every Motorex ads i've seen in magazines...

Razor said an R32 can go for about 26 000$ according to him... we're talking R32, from 1989 to 1993, of course not an R34, which are a lot pricier...

i'm looking at Prospec's website (www.prospec-ms.co.uk) a knowned UK Grey importer, and a good R32 GT-R is about 19 000£, or 29 000$ US

Motorex's prices are pretty much what we'd pay everywhere else, except Japan, of course.

Skylines go pretty cheap here in NZ and AUS... R32's can be very, very cheap, and R33/34's go for about 100-125 grand AUSSIe here. If it's 90 grand in US, that's quite expensive

Think about the insurance as well cause getting a car shipped to US can be quite painful.
I heard of peoples belongings in containers falling off ships in da water and neva found :(

I just hope there will be enough R32 GT-R's left for me to buy one. :(

A 1994 V-Spec II is my dream car. I want one more than any other car in the world, including the Ferrari F50.

btw i happened to see an R33 today!!! :) My second fave car

I was driving home one day and a R33 GT-R (white i think) was driving behind me for a while, then he got passed and kept going. I was very tempted to follow him, but Mum was in the car and we were going home. :(
