Winamp Bar

Hey everyone.

There's a program out there called Winamp Bar that puts a set of simple audio control buttons on the top bar of whatever program is on top so that while WinAmp is playing, you can adjust, skip to next track, start/stop, etc. without having to maximize it.

Wondering if a) anyone has heard of this program and/or used it, and b)if anyone knows of a similar program for iTunes...

A) No
B) No, but there's gotta be one out there.
c) Epitome of lazy. Seriously, how much more time does it take to mouse down to the start bar and make Winamp active?

I don't think wanting a little convenience on my desktop classifies as the "epitome of lazy."

Did you really feel a need to slip that snide remark into your response? I could do without your petty insults, especially when you have nothing to offer in terms of assistance. Keep your mouth shut if you've got nothing useful to contribute, which from the content of your post seems to be the case.

1. Get Foobar2000.
2. Get Looks for Foobar2000

There's one built in for my iTunes.

Just right-click on the start bar, and check the iTunes toolbar. Then whenever you minimize iTunes, it shows up on the start bar.

No, click the toolbar (where your windows get minimized) and then go up to toolbars from the menu that pops up. Everything should be on there.

Or you can just get a keyboard with built in controls :)

I've found that using MMD3 minimized to horizontial winshade mode with Winamp 3 accomplishes exactly what you are talking about. Make sure you have "Always on top" checked under the skin's config though.

Alternately, you can change songs quickly using SHIFT + ALT + Page Down/Page Up if you enable global hotkeys in the program preferences.
