Windowblinds

Okay so I haven't been able to find a better program for skins/themes than this one. It has the most selection and works flawlessly (aside from using precious memory). The problem is, I just recently downloaded it again after a hiatus of some months, and the newer version won't let you use it after 60 days without buying it. The old one would let you use it for as long as you wanted. Is tere another program that might work as well for free?

I am particularly interested in making my XP look like Vista. I'm sure I'm not alone in this respect.

uxtheme.dll patch for the win.

And before you ask, google.com has the answer.

You won't get that to work after windowblinds. It has an uncanny way of hiding on your hard drive and then coming out the sabotage the uxtheme patch. If you can, do a system restore back to before you installed windowblinds. Unless you're like me and did it too long ago that it would uninstall a ton of other stuff too :(

And because Machone is too busy being a 13 year old gangsta to google it himself...

But yeah, it's a good patch with a ton of themes around. Makes you wish you hadn't found it sooner :P

I use Styler. It never uses more that 2mb of memory and there are hundreds of skins to be found.

I use StyleXP, it might be just a fancy name for a uxtheme.dll (not entirely sure), it doesn't use much memory, and I had windowblinds on this system before StyleXP, haven't had a problem. Comes with a Mac OSx skin, but there are some Vista themes on T3H !N73RN37S!.

Thats odd, the UXTheme patch works just fine over here after WindowsBlinds.
Anyhow, for my skinning I use either UXTheme or the Styler Toolbar, both work equally well although Styler does allow skinning of Windows Explorer toolbars etc.
I use Styler on this machine, and used to use the patch on the other, now I run Vista.
