I was wondering, does anyone know how to get translucent backgrounds for the icons on my desktop (I use Windows ME)? I really hate having good backgrounds ruined by the background colours behind icons. Any help would be appreciated.
DeskColor will remove the background. However, Windows 2000/XP are the only Windows OSes that support alpha transparency; so text shadows are out of the question I'm afraid.
