As A Desktop Enviroment.

I Want To Know If Using Server 2003 As A Desktop Enviroment Is A Good Idea.
I Ask This As Currenlty It Is The Only Windows Disto I Legally Own.
I Aquired Sever 2003 From a Friend Of Mine Who Works At The Cyber Cafe Across From My School. It Came In A Package Labeled "Partner Tools+" Along With Visual Studio 2003 .Net Professional DVD And Some Other Resources.

I Would Use My Other Copy Of Windows XP Home That Came With Both My Desktop And Laptop, But One Is Severely Scratched, And The Other Is MIA. I Have Little Access To The Internet To Aquire A New Copy Of Windows XP, But Thats Illegal Anyways, And Im Lazy.

Although It Is Cool To Have Several Server Components Embedded With The OS, The ReadME.txt On The CD Says To Not Use Server 2003 As A Desktop Browser, But It Is My Only Option Currently.

I Could Switch To One Of My Many Linux Distros, But, I Would Lose All Ability To Play Counter-Strike And Condition Zero. Not To Mention Acces To My Already Exensive Game Library.

If I Can, I Will Post A Picture Proving That I Pwn Server 2003 Legally, If its Needed (Or Just To Show Off :P).

You'll be fine using it as your typical OS. It's just not going to have tons of features like XP has, with more Network capabilities in that place.

Downloading another version of XP is not illegal if you use the same licence key number when you install it.

I Know That.
But Im Lazy. And I Already Have A Valid Version Of Server 2003 Installed.
Going Back To XP Home Is Like Taking A Step Backwards To Me Anyways.
