Windows Vista and games - My Overwhelming Confusion.

Alrighty, So i recently got a new computer that just happens to run Windows Vista home premium. Ok, so heres my delimma. This is a laptop, so I know running anything on a high level is out of the question, But the Geek Squad guy at best buy seems to think that I can run Command And Conquer 3 on medium. (I have no idea how this feat ranks, because I deplore command and conquer games and havent even seen a screen shot) Now, I know about system requirements on games and such, but I can't even find the damn system info in vista. The only thing I can find is a Windows Experience Index... Now these subscores are:

Processor: 4.6
RAM: 4.5
Graphics 3.1
Gaming Graphics: 3.1
Primary Hard Disk: 4.6

Now, after using the wonderful world of Google, I have yet to understand what the crap these scores are in a general sense... You know, like which scores will run what. I am soooo confused. So any ideas guys? Do you think I can run something like Battlefield 2 or Half Life 2 on this sucker?

Thanks.

*edit* I know this would probably be better suited for PC gaming, but that forum receives like zero traffic.

You should be able to play those. I have a Dell that is only a 1.3 with 256 ram (max my bios allows) and 320 gighd. HD doesn't matter of course but i run BF2 on this heap of crap without any problems. Oh also im not using the on board video, i have a cheap 39 dollar compusa brand video card. Can't remember the name and all but you get the idea for only 39 dollars. I couldn't run BF2 on high, but i could run the detail on high with all of the sparks and shadows and such things off.

Easy I think. Looking at that you've probably got a 1.5+ Dual Core, 1Gb Ram and a dedicated graphics. CnC3 has also next to no system requirements. But to test and be sure, go on this page, and on the right you can see 'Can you run it', if you run that, you will see how easy it is to pass the test.

Also, you can still see your computer specs in Vista by pressing 'Windows Key + Break'.
