I have a question. Are there any more themes for XP Pro than the ones you can select when u right-click>properties? There is a browse option but I dont know where to look. Oh, and anyone with some tips, please post them.

TIA,
Jubula.

Theres a bunch of sites out there. The one I usually go to is www.themexp.org but they are down atm. They are supposedly switching to new servers. Just do a search on google for "xp themes". You'll get quit a few. ;)

I didnt download stylexp. I did the other method where I patch a file or two in the windows directory. Then I can use any theme I want that would work with stylexp. ;)

StyleXP is easier to keep track of the themes IMO, plus I'd get tired of doing all the other things each time I wanted to change my login screen or color scheme, I just think that StyleXP is the easiest/fastest tool for someone new to XP

ya something like that
it's so awesome at first, tons and tons and tons of diff themes, can change the start up images and crap, but i already went thru the trial, and dont feel like payin for it.

no, but like, you have to have styles xp running to use the themes. and since its only 30 days, you can only use styles xp for 30 days, and like, it dosen't work afterwards, it sez something about you paying, so you cannot use the themes afterwards. well, at least i can't. i think i deleted the folder and it still didnt work. . .

Windowsblinds is completely free, and you only see one popup from it on startup. If you want a program without a 30 day trial, Windowsblinds is a good choice.
