Winning the Poly001 and Poly002

Hi folks,

i already have the Polly001, (3 of them) but no polly002

there is a list here posted by Jordan that lists the PAL prize cars, which is a great help, but he refers to the Poly001 and Poly002 as the 'Polyphony Racing Car', there is no way to distinguish between the two cars here.

where are the places to win the Poly001 and 002 and what are thier NTSC equivalents?

polyphony 001= f/094 h or S

poly 002= f/688 m

In any competition where the prize car on the NTSC list is an F/0, you'll get a P001 in PAL. Where the prize car is an F/6 on the NTSC list, you'll get a P002 in PAL.

P002 = F688/S
P001 = F094/S
 
I noticed there's an F1 in the Speedway Endo race but I can never win it, I keep getting Falcons and Renaults, there's another car there too.
 
Super Speedway is the P002, Corvette C5-R, Clio V6 Race Car and Tickford Falcon XR8. All good cars.
 
I think the Falcon is a great handling car, it's one of the only cars I use ASM with (set to 2) and it drives great.

My favourite car is the bone-stock TVR Speed 12. 'Nuff said... :D
 
Thanks folks for the tips, thats great...but the super speedway has the polly001 as a prize car not the 002....the reason i know this is because thats where i have won 2 of the 001s that i have...

perhaps your copy is different..:)
 
Turbosmoke that is correct. On the Pal version you win the 001 on the super speedway. It seems to only be on colour combination of black with the green markings. I've found that about 70% of the time you can choose your car by holding the button down on the steering part of the gamepad in the opposite direction of the car you wish to win. IE if the car is at the bottom of the rotation when it stops, the next time you win that series or race hold the top or up button. It doesn't always work but like I said it is at least 70% of the time.
 
My mistake - I was thinking of Apricot Hill Endurance (which is normally the one I do first)...
