Wireless Logitech Wheel issues

I'm somewhat bunged up from my USAF career and as a result I have two PS3s...one upstairs in my "I love me Room" with a custom built race chair and a driving force...and one downstairs in the living room where a Barca lounger (which is better aligned for my back and neck) is my race seat and has a Logitech Wireless Wheel.

The Logitech Wireless is not mentioned in GT 6 but it functions OK (not precise like my setup upstairs) . I have noted that there is no synching of the wireless wheel during boot up and when I enter GT6 it turns about 5 degrees to the right. That I can live with, but if you are lucky enough to hit or brush a wall it rotates another 15 degrees or so (just like it sensed a damaged steering box or being knocked out of line).

Is this a Logitech Wireless issue or is this a further enhancement of the game engine?

Also are there any wheels out they that can be used w/o pedals for those of use who are a bit the worse for wear!

Needless to say I stay way off the walls but unfortunately that slows one down.

Anyone?

I have similar issue, but it's usually fixed by pausing the game and turning the wheel all the way to the left and then to the right (pretty sure it doesn't matter which way first!)

Yeah I used one of the wireless wheels for all of GT5 and now have the DFGT as well. My wireless was constantly inaccurate and I would need to pause and do the full left/right realignment thing. I even went so far as to take it apart and try to reset the center point but to no avail.
By any chance is your wireless antenna/dongle somewhat close by with a direct line of sight to your wheel? I think mine was more accurate/consistent if there were no obstructions between the wheel and PS3. Worth a try anyway to see if it improves.
If you message me I'd even be happy to send you mine just to see if it works any better. Still have original box and would let you have it.
Cheers.

Thanks for the info...much easier than backing all the way out. Thank for the offer mine is brand new and I'm now in direct sight of the thumb drive...works better.
Cheers and check six
