Before i start, i am aware of all the methods tried in other posts such as moving the card nearer the router e.c.t.
I have a belkin 54g/b wireless router with built in modem, and a belkin 54g laptop card.
The problem is, that sometimes, my internet is fast, and other times it is slow, very slow. It can be working quite happily, and then suddenly there will be little or no connection. I have tried changing channels many times, and still nothing. Anyone? It's not a huge problem, but it is getting a bit annoying now.

Thanks in advance.

Cable, DSL, whats your internet connection?

Sorry, my internet is being stupid, this post is not supposed to exist, please ignore it as i am not sure how to delete it. Sorry!

Its probably because of the load on the server. With DSL you only get the high speeds when there is literally no one else online because its utilizes a completely shared bandwidth capacity. Basically, if you have 10 houses connected to a 10mb/s line and each are online each house only gets 1/10 of the bandwidth available - a 1mb/s bandwidth or something like that. The connection speed will still show the 10mb/s however.

I don't have DSL, I have cable internet, so this is coming from what I've heard and whatnot.
