I made this to simply see what you guys prefer for your console controllers...wireless or wired?

I know many people love to use wireless simply because it is more flexible and more agile.Though I love wireless myself,I know many people have some ignorant arguments against wireless, and here is my pre-emptive response to some of them:

Argument:"The batteries make it too heavy!"
My Response:Unless you have some type of bone disease, are over 50 years old or have carpal tunnel, you need to shove it.The batteries in a wireless controller today are becoming lighter as the controllers get lighter. If you can't hold a 1 or less ounce controller, you have some serious problems. If you can't bear maybe 0.3 ounces of extra weight on your controller, don't ever play a console game again.

Argument:"The batteries run dead too fast/you have to replace them alot!"
My Response:Unless you make absolutely no money and are broke, this is a really retarded argument. It isn't our fault you have to play your games 24/7 with your wireless controller!Go buy some rechargable freakin' batteries! If you're sick of replacing them then why don't you just go out and find a way to make wireless controllers run off of air?If you're too lazy to replace a couple of batteries and are stupid enough to not buy rechargable ones, please end yourself.

Argument:"The signal sometimes weakens or dies and it is soooo gay!"
My Response:Unless you are using a controller from 1995,are standing 150 feet away from your console or you are directing your controller completely opposite of where your console is,this shouldn't happen.Today's signals for wireless controllers are 10 times the strength of old signals! You can block the signal with a piece of wood or thin steel and turn it to the opposite direction of the console and 75% of the time your controller will still get it's signal to the transponder.

Im not flaming anyone about these things and I am not trying to start some controller war,Im just giving a pre-emptive response to some ignorant arguments about why wireless controllers supposedly "suck".

I'm not an wireless "hater", but I do prefer corded controllers. I like the simplicity and to me, consoles are all about simplicity. I just want to be able to pop in the game, push power and go, without being concerned about the battery level in my controller.

Since the awsome Wavebird I love using wireless pads. I still use my trusty DS2 though because I can't find wireless pads for my PS2, and wouldn't trust a third party company to make a quality wireless pad. Trust Nintendo to come up with the Wavebird. They have always been the pioneers of good ideas coupled with great design for their pads. Also the Wb doesn't use too much battery power as I haven't replaced mine for or so months, the weight isn't a problem with me either. The only gripe and it's a minor one is that there is no rumble feature, but is this a reason to carry on buying pads that are anchored to the system getting increasingly more tangled around other cables?
