Wireless Solutions for DFGT?

Hello all,
I am looking to connect my DFGT without physically connecting the cord to the playstation. I know wireless usb could possibly work, but I would want to know for sure because the investment in a wireless hub/transmitter is around $100. I am looking to do this because there is a certain woman in my life that nags me all the time about a cord running across the family room. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Won't work, unless there's some new wireless USB that I don't know about. And you still need to plug it in for power...
 
Power is not an issue.. I have plugs behind the couch, but that usb cable is an issue. I can't believe logitech don't have a dongle for it like the other wireless wheel does.....
 
Well, you could always get a long USB extension cable and run it along the walls/baseboards/etc.
