Today I had my wisdom teeth taken out. My dentist pulled all four of them out within half an hour. Its been nearly 3 hours since that time and my lower lip is quite numb from the Novocaine and I am in SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much pain. I really wished that my dentist would have given me Larotab 10's or even Percacets but I got stuck with Ibuprofen 600 mg, and I know these wont do anything to me because when I get a headache I have to take about 400 mg of Ibuprofen just to get rid of the headache. I have a week til I get my stitches out, lets just hope I can deal with the pain.

I had mine out when I was 18. Ruined an entire week of my life. Hurt like hell. All four impacted. They knocked me out. You have my sympathy. It sucks bad.

I have all four of mine. All the way in. My dentists says I should probably get them pulled, but there really not causing me that much problems. Plus I seem to keep them pretty clean.

I planned to be knocked out, and be on a nice long vacation when the day comes though.

Two of my four were impacted. By the time I got them out, I couldn't close my front teeth far enough to bite down on a pencil. I got good old sodium pentothal so I was concious but didn't really care about anything they were doing. Recovery took me a couple days. Good luck!

Jebus. Now it sounds even worse. I getting mine taken out on Aug. 7 (i think). I've heard from my brohter (and I remember) that when he had his pulled it hurt really bad and he ate jello/soup for a few days.

OHHHHH I CAN"T WAIT!!!!:nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

Pfft, when I was, I forget how old i was, my baby teeth were actually fused to my jaw bone! so they wouldn't fall out on their own.

So i had to go to the dentist to get them removed 6 on one side 6 on the othe. Did 6 teeth in one trip then about a week later did the other 6. I also got one tooth out before all that for some reason so all in all i have had 13 teeth pulled out by the dentist.

Also, having my Tonsils out when i was 11 or twele or something like that.

Oh, and the bleeding. Can't forget the bleeding.
That's all you taste for 48 hours. You just don't feel like eating anything.

The last wisdom tooth I had hurt me so much for a week before the extraction, that the pain of removal wasn't even one-tenth of the pain beforehand. I was thrilled to have that tooth out.

Well, I went to the dentist today. I found out that my two lower wisdom teeth are horizontal and that I seem to have an extra wisdom tooth in the right side of my mouth(Or left, I couldn't tell from the X-Ray they took). I'm going to have to have them pulled out sometime soon.

My wisdom teeth are growing in, and I'm going to let 2 of them stay. On one side, I had a tooth removed because of bad (TERRIBLE) dentist work, so it's filling the gap. Same with one on the other side.

My brother and myself figured out that they call them wisdom teeth because if you let them grow in, you're bestowed with the knowledge that you didn't want them in the first place...Because they sure as hell haven't made me any smarter.

Oh ****...now I hope I never have to have my wisdom teeth out...***stressed***

Anyone care to explain to this dumb**** what Wisdom Teeth are, I've been told what they are before, but I can't remember...

Your wisdom teeth grow in when you're around 15-20, they are in the very back of your mouth, I believe a lot of people get them taken out because they cause crowding and can sometimes make your teeth stay really crooked for a long time, I'm not positive, though. Kids around here are pumped to get theirs out because we can either enjoy our percocets, or sell them for sometihing like 10 bucks a pill. I have a friend who made 250 bucks off his wisdom teeth, and still had 10 pills left...but yeah, it would suck with only ibuprofen.

WTf?

Zero, how old are you?

I have never had them, didnt even know they have to be removed.

Wisdom teeth?

Maybe it is all because I still am an immature prick.

Hell, I still have not even done my Confirmation yet...

Damn, immature and I will be going straight to hell.

Well, I had mine pulled this morning. The bleeding seems to have stopped for the time being. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was in pain for a little while but the meds I took seem to be helping(Ibuprofen and something else.) All of my teeth were impacted. I get to go back on tuesday for a post surgery checkup.

Got mine out at 14. it's important once the stitches are out to stretch your mouth every day (otherwise you'll be stuck only being able to open your mouth a few millimeters and eating applesauce, yogurt, and pudding for the rest of your life)

my wisdom teeth r comin in, and apparently there's a tooth growing in between and beneath 2 of my molars...luckily not a problem atm...i don't even knw it's there unless i'm shown an xray
