I'm after a loan of an X1 in any guise so I can back my save up so even after sending it back to you I can reload that saved data and have one of my own! :)

In return for this help I'll send you a Formula GT that you can keep for yourself as a thanks.
 
well if this works it seems to devalue the work and effort involved to get an x1 by either trading or playing for one so my best advice to all x1 owners treat them like gold and only trade or keep them
 
I'm not a good enough player to beat the level 30 challenge so I'm never gonna have my own and seeing as my PS3 is an old 'fatty' I can't take a risk with the B-Spec grind either. :(

Hopefully somebody can help even if it's just the one you get for bronze.
 
buddy i wouldnt lend you my x1 for 20 f10s now thats been said , but plod on to level 35 on b spec and voila!!! youve earnt one good luck anyway
 
Why? you can back your save up > send car > restore your back up save and you lost nothing and gained a free F1 car. On top of that you get a second X1 when the original gets sent back.

Nobody loses.

And you can't "plod on" in B-Spec when getting to that level takes days on end and you have an old PS3 model which could die after being on for a few hours never mind days.

Look if you're not willing to help then please refrain from posting in my thread because if you can't help then there's no point posting here.

Let's trade then. :) The Value in the game isn't about the cars worth anyway, it's about taking these cars to the track.

I just want to time trial with my cars not brag about the bling.
 
calm down ppl. The only value in this game is the $60 you payed for it. IS A VIDEO GAME!
 
Plug in a usb stick and go to the saved game section of the XMB, press triangle and copy it to the stick.

That's it! you have to install the latest 1.5 upgrade to the game first though.

I'm both excited and depressed about this. Excited in knowing my game is protected if my ps3 dies. Sad now that everyone will be exploiting, oh well. Thanks for the heads up on this!
 
Maybe it ruins games if you think these little cars in a game are worth real money but for people who actually PLAY the game it improves things considerably! in your world we'd all be in Civics and only a few "Game Kings" would have the expensive/rare cars. :( that's not fun that's just enforcing a sad elitism.

It's just a video game! if you want kudos for anything do it in the real world.

A note about the game saves, they are tied to your PSN ID so you have to sign again with those details if you move to another console.

Yes, people actually make money of this. I myself have made Over 100$ selling FGTs
and yes, when you worked hard to make your X1, but the people who get it at christmas will more than likely have a friend with it who exploits have the same Car, it gives less of an experiancial advantage and just negates the whole purpose of the game to work for expensive cars.

I think they had killing the ebay market in mind with the update. The duping will end it. I didn't mind the ebay stuff, the duping is much worse cuz the trade market will be dead in a week.

There are some seriously shady people in this thread. Selling cars... are you serious. Your talking about working hard for the cars. Why not work hard at life, get a real job, and not sell video game cars you have probably been scamming from the beginning.
