With VR Headset--Approaching The Car As In Real Life Before Driving It?

I had an idea for the Virtual Reality headset usage in Gran Turismo (that is for the new release they are currently working on).

Here it is:

"It would be cool if we could be able to walk into a car before every race."

Think about it:

Like in real life, you first need to approach the car, and open the door, really getting a good sense for the car before driving it, really registering it into your mind that this is the car I'm about to take on the track now, like in real life, by feeling the car out visually, that is, by approaching the car in order to get into it, just as in real life, before going to drive it.

The way I came up with that idea was simple.

I was thinking about Sony VR headset and got excited about it and was thinking about what is the experience of owning and using a cool car, and I just saw that with VR headset - if we could approach the car like in real life before starting to drive it and getting into it, starting it, and so forth ... then it would really give us a good sense of what is the car we're about to drive, getting these first impressions and kind of labeling or registering the car in our mind before driving it.

It's like giving every car, visually - like in real life - its own little space of impression in our mind before driving the car and, then, adding the experience of actually driving the car to that same place in our mind.

If you think about it, there's something to it... and I'm confident that lots of other people like yourself would love to have such a thing in GT now thanks to the VR headset that is available in the new GT release.

If enough people like the idea, it would be great if this idea would be sent to the Gran Turismo team for consideration.

If you like the idea and you know there is a place where you can send Gran Turismo developers a feedback, then please go ahead and make your part and give a notice to the Polyphony Digital Company about this idea.

That's it. This is the idea. Happy new year to everyone here in the Gran Turismo community! :- )
