About a year and a half ago there was a 4-person homicide on a street in my town about a block away from an elementary school in summer, the guy was just let out of jail for about 10 years and when he found out his girlfriend moved on, killed her, her dad, her grandfather, and the neighbor who came over to help after he heard them. It was sad, but they caught him. It really shook up the neighborhood.

Brings things home when events like this happen so close. It's easy to 'distance' far away events.

Btw, your OP does make you sound a little, well... guilty. :scared:

;)

A couple years ago, a young man's body was found dumped in the river at the end of the road I live on. I lived in the country, can't really get away from all that stuff no matter where you go.

Not to worry, I've since moved to a giant, crime-ridden city. :)

Suspicious death try 3 person homicide not far away from where I live on a highway I travel often.

Also on the 1st of this year I couldn't leave work because the roads were closed due to a murder http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Crime/2011/01/01/16728816.html

A few months before that I left work about 20 minutes before a shootout in the parking lot where i used to park for work

Time to move!

Someone buried a body less than a mile from my house back in the '90s and they just found it...

Looking at your avatar, I wouldn't be surprised if you knew the date it was buried...
