I've played Gran Turismo since the very beginning, spending my summer holiday pocket money on a copy of Gran Turismo and a brand new Dual Shock controller back in 1998. I've picked up every copy since, including the Tokyo Geneva expansion although the PSP version slipped me by! I booked off half a day upon GT5's UK release and that weekend spent over £600 on an Ikea Poang Chair, GT Pro Wheel Stand and a Driving Force Pro Steering Wheel. To say I was immersed in the game was an understatement! For the Christmas break of 2010 I had over 3 weeks saved up and spent most of my free time engrossed in GT5, exhausting the career, testing the limits of various cars and taking an obscene amount of photos. Aside from my PSone, I don't have any consoles as of November 2014 because I sold my collection to cut down after buying a house so GT5 has been out of my life for awhile. Over this weekend I visited my Brother who had recently got the same set up as I used to have and we spent hours playing the new content in GT6, having a laugh and enjoying the game again. That led me back to GT Planet and before I knew it the memories had come flooding back, digging up my old images of GT5 before I lost them forever. I enjoy Photography in my spare time, especially natural photography where everything is in the frame and no image editing software is used after the initial shot. This bleed over to GT5 where none of my images have filters, cropping, image adjustment or the removal of watermarks. Everything was as I took it. Before my excitement shifts over to the upcoming (Possibly!) Gran Turismo 7, I thought I'll share some of my favourite photos I took during my time with GT5. Hope you like them!
