Workout help

Okay so ill start by giving you some background, i am and always have been a skinny guy im 22 this year, im 6" 0 and weigh just 10 stone 4, which is 145.6 lb currently. i have tried in the past to try and gain muscle i managed to put one stone on, although the % of which was muscle didn't seem to be much, hence i stopped. im looking for some advice of a workout i could do and what means i should try and incorporate into my everyday, i have two dumbbells and 25kg of weights, i have in the past just been following the guide which came with them, but im not sure this is the right thing to do, so if someone could please come up with a workout i could do using them which would help every area please help!. im not aiming to be some big muscle filled guy, but ill'd just like to be in a more average shape and weight. really any help is very much appreciated.
