THIS WILL BE A PS4 ONLY SERIES.
THE SERIES WILL RUN SATURDAYS MORNINGS AT 10AM EST, RACING WILL BEGIN 1 HOUR LATER SHARP.
ALL DRIVERS ARE WELCOME WHO ARE LOOKING FOR CLEAN COMPETITIVE RACING

*PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THE RULES BEFORE JOINING*

Track Code of Conduct:

We put clean racing above all other skill in this league. B or C class drivers are considered just as good and treated with just as much respect if they are in control of their car and do not cause collisions. We understand that this can be difficult and are certainly willing to work with you to improve.

Track Boundaries

If a driver is found to be abusing or excessively using out-of-bound areas, drivers will be disqualified from the race and will not earn any points. Repeat offenders will be disqualified from the series, cited with a warning and may be subjected to administrative action. Drivers who have left the track may not make any gain from the out-of-bound driving, and forfeit their right to all cars on the track. Drivers may only rejoin the track when it is clear and they will not interfere with any cars that have maintained legal track space. Failure to yield will result in penalties.

Contact

Drivers are never permitted to make deliberate contact with another vehicle, cone, wall, or barrier. Every reasonable effort is expected to be made to avoid these situations. If contact is made, drivers may not gain any sort of advantage or position as a result. If a position is gained, it must be ceded to the other driver. If a driver makes contact with static objects (Cones, Walls, Barriers) they must demonstrate recognition and cede any advantage gained. Examples of ceding would be lifting off the throttle, or tapping the breaks. Bumping as a result of close racing is acceptable to a degree, but excessive bumping may result in penalization. Bump drafting is not allowed.

Practice/Qualify

Always be aware of what's going on around you. Be careful joining the track from the pits and rejoining after going off the track.
When going to the pits directly from the track thought the pause menu, be aware of any other car is coming behind you. Remember the car stops when you go to the pause menu.

Qualify session:

Be aware of any other driver in flying lap when you are in your outlap or going slower.

Passing

It is the responsibility of the passing driver to keep all passes clean and without incident. Drivers are to use proper judgement while passing to keep situations safe.

Blocking
Purposely changing track position to prevent a car from passing is dangerous for both cars and is forbidden. Having said that, drivers have a right to their line. Occasionally, maintaining a line may be seen as cutting in front of another driver, however, if the driver is indeed maintaining their line, then it is legitimate and not classified as blocking.

Racing Pace
Drivers are expected to maintain racing pace at all times. Purposefully driving slow, stopping on the course, erratic driving, or driving backwards is expressly forbidden and will result in a warning. The only time stopping on a course or slow driving is permitted is when an incident has occurred and it is required in order to maintain proper caution. Stopping on the side of the track is forbidden and should only occur during real life interruption or hardware failure. In these events cars should be parked as far off course as possible.

Track Space Drivers will respect another car's right to a lane worth of track space for the duration of any reasonable side by side action. A passing car must earn a reasonable overlap without interfering with a car that is committed to a line.

Pit Etiquette
When pitting, drivers are required to use the proper pit entry and exit paths, and are required to make every reasonable effort to keep all four tires within the white lines. Drivers exiting the pit have full rights to the blend lane. Oncoming drivers must yield that lane of track up to the end of the blend lane.

Lapped Drivers
Lapped drivers are required to cede position to the lapping driver and may not contest the position. Lapped drivers are to hold outside lines through turns in order to allow a lapping driver through. It is still the responsibility of the passing driver, however, to maintain a clean and safe overtake.

Violations of the Track Code of Conduct will result in penalization by the series host.
