World BoB Racing Championship is underway!!

Hey fellow Friends of Bobs (FoB's)

I am going to run a tournament of BoBs and we need more BoBs!

Each entrant will register 3 bobs, no less no more, with the top BoBs (not worked out how many yet) going through to the next round and so forth until a champion BoB & manager is crowned!!

Prizes on offer include "1000" tickets, cars, paints, museum cards (if desired) and anything else that is tradeable.

Screenshots of the results will be placed on this thread

OK everyone, here is how it will work:

Round one:

Four races in round one - The top 45 Bobs to go through to round 2. The top ten bobs in each race will go through automatically and then the 5 next fastest BoB's across all 4 races will go through as well.
The race for all 4 races will take place in the Alfa Romeo race using the Spider 1600 Duetto '66 on the Cape Ring.

Round two:

Three races in round two - The top ten BoB's from each race will go through to the third round.
Track is Suzuka and the MAIN CAR is the HKS CT230R '08

Round three:

Two races of 15 BoB's in each. The top 7 in each race go through to the final with the next fastest joining them.

FINAL - Track TBA:

The top 15 BoB's will fight out the championship! Who will take out the crown and who will fill the podium with them? Can C. Norris be defeated? Will U. Fink win a race or even do better than last? Well what a race! Tha Destroyer lived up to his name and came through unscathed whilst most lost one driver with Rossum (CARCRASH) being unfortunate enough to lose two! Huge 👍 to our lowest level driver W. Peeters for finishing 4th, not bad when every other driver is over Lvl 30!

So the top ten qualify, no need to write them down, but we sadly say goodbye to the following brave BoB's, we salute you chaps

Another great race but the Dome Zero is proving a handful having taken out 2 from 2... That's all good though, these early rounds will hopefully let me get a feel for what races to run for a more even race. Two clean sweeps this race! MeanElf & Bikini (That sounds odd, you're BK from now on!) got through without losing a Robert whilst Ricey lost two drivers along with Mortuus who also has "Also Ran's" heading to the bar!!

So The Fink started well in pole position and in about 6 seconds he was dead last until he passed Herr Rice, thankfully for Ricey his driver took back position thus avoiding me giving him a hard time for at least 6 months

So we say goodbye, for now at least as they may be a fast qualifier, to the following velocity challenged chaps:

Well, race 3 was a ripper & no Dome Z!! U. Ferrari led from start to finish but won by less than a second in a relatively close race! Notable mention to C. Norris who must have left the road at least 3 times as he dropped 5-6 spots instantly at least twice but I suspect 3 all up!! BadBoyBoogie got the clean sweep Whilst Stig lost 2 drivers AND a disgraceful mention to H. Potter (Stig) and P. Rose (Ryan_N) for being beaten by the Fink!! Both those guys move up a spot to 14th & 15th but should feel totally ashamed at being whupped by the F-Bomb

Unfortunately some drivers must be eliminated and this race it is the following lads that must, for now, head off... Tissues are in the pits fella's!!

Round one is completed and what a way to finish!!

The last race was, by a huge margin, easily the fastest of the round! There is no point detailing the top ten or who got eliminated... because the race was so fast that, by my calculations, every car (even the Fink )from race 4 has qualified faster than all the cars in the other 3 races combined

Was it the number of L40 drivers pushing the rest? Damn even The Fink got a faster lap in that last race than almost every other BoB!

Feel free to go over the pics guys but I reckon I am right, what an amazing turn of events.I will be generating the 2nd round soon and will let you all know th outcome!

I have considered all of this and figured I would give it a go without too many details for the main reason that it is for fun with the focus not being on prizes.

Initially i had posted within the C.R.A.P group and that is where the initial 35 guys came from, we need more though so I opened it up to everyone else.

Yeah there might be others who have done similiar but I have not seen any other tourny's so I decided to go for it just to have a bit of fun.

I can run the races any time so when enough people have registered (We can do less than 120 BoB's if required) I will get it underway.

I will organise prizes and update OP when done.

Also, the BoB that I will use as host will not be recognised in the official results so all races will be a race of 15 with him (A.Ferrari I reckon) being leapfrogged by anyone below him 👍

Unless u guys can stagger the races between urselves which is more than I dare ask, I will stick to championship I already entered.

You really do want to go through the trouble? Wouldn't bother about putting my level 0 in, and I do need one of them, but I'd have 2 level 40 (both in Lord Voldemort's championship) and 2 level 37 (both heavily used by myself) available.

I can also confirm that only one team of 3 BoB's is allowed per household so unfortunately your wife's BoB's cannot compete.

The reasons for this are twofold: 1- If everyone had more than one team it would ruin it, this is a comp for everyone's best BoB's not for as many BoB's as you can find and 2- Some folk only a one account so it would be unfair on them 👍

As we now have all manager positions filled I will move on to the next phase which will be organising races, announcing prizes and running the races themselves.

Each participant will recieve a PM soon with instructions on what to do next and with all the details.

I do ask you guys to be patient while I do this as I am a very busy man IRL but this will have my attention and it will get done soon so as to not tie up your BoB's.

Can any entrant who has BoB's in another current event or league please send me a PM with the details of when their BoB's are unavailable so I can get an idea for when is NOT a good time to start this. That is of course if you do not currently have 3 available BoB's.
