Welcome to my road car championship for cars from olden times! This will be a racing series based on classic cars, classic tracks and classic cities. The racing should be interesting, and the cars will be varied.

Rules:
Cars must be from 1975 or older.
Cars cannot be tuned in any way, apart from oil change, engine rebuild and car wash.
PP will be set at 370PP, which means it should be mostly basic road cars competing.
No Power Limiting to get to the PP needed, this takes away the fairness of the competition.
Once the season starts, you are stuck with the car for the season.
Make sure you test your car first, as some tracks have really long straights which your car might top out on and tuning is not allowed.

Track List:
Suzuka Circuit
Laguna Seca
Spa-Francorchamps
Circuito de Madrid
Cape Ring Inside
Le Mans(full day/night and weather change cycle)

All races will be aimed to be around an hour and a half.

Room Settings:
Damage: Heavy
Weak Slipstream
No Boost
Tyre grip reduction: Real
All aids off(includes ABS)
Tyres: Comfort Softs
PP: 370

Car specs
Car must be a roadcar from 1975 or earlier under 370PP.
Any comfort tyre can be used

Races will be run on a Sunday, room opened at 7PM GMT(I believe British Daylight changes next week)
First race will be once we get some sign-ups.

depends on day and time but this sounds cool, I definitely want to do some vintage racing.

Interested.

Yeah sorry, just left the thread like that because I had a race to get to. Probably isn't as professional looking as the rest but I don't really care, as long as nothing major is missing, this thread is done.👍

Akmuq so you gonna make a list of car that are elligable?

Every pre-1975 non-race car under 370PP without power limiting is eligible.

Surely without using PL to lower some cars it will be very narrow on car choice..

No, it would just mean a lot of cars at 350-370, good chance that this series will be won on car choice and not skill.

Still doesn't mean Furi would win, he would need about 450 PP.;)

That was my worry . Once a dominant car comes around in testing everyone will jump on it etc etc..

And I can tell you what those cars would be...

Alpine A310 1600VE '73 on almost every track.
Mazda 110S (L10B) '68 could be better at Le Mans, because of top speed.

No other cars come close.

Not even the GT-Rs? :O
