Hi all,

I've just tried to enter the Buick Special '62 into the World Classic Series, but the game states that the car doesn't meet the entry requirements.

There are two requirements for the challenge:
- 1969 or earlier
- Sports Hard tyres

I meet the tyre restriction; it's shown in white with a tick in the entry reqs. check. The check appears to be failing for the year; this is shown in orange without the tick.

Now, what's odd is when I go to Garage from this page to see a list of valid cars, the Buick '62 is listed.

Whether it's valid or not, listing it here but not allowing its use is a bug.

I'm wondering, has anyone managed to use to Buick 62 in this event?

Cheers

What makes the Buick Special '62 so special are all the upgrades that were done to it a few years ago for a SEMA show. That car was built like new just a few years ago, therefore making it unavailable for makes '69 or earlier. That's my theory at least. If one was able to use it in A-Spec mode then my theory is shot. Trust me, I had my Buick Special hooked up to 800hp and thought it would make for an easy victory but instead I was forced to buy a Corvette Stingray '69. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense that it ought to be unavailable. Oh well, time to spend some CR.

Cheers for the hint on a car too. :)

You also can not use the fancy corvette who's name just escapes me...

The one in the special tuned section of the premium dealerships...

ART MORRISON! Thank you.

Learned that the hard way.
